A platform dedicated to promoting the enduring legacy of Nelson Mandela in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Our mission is simple yet powerful: to honour Mandela's spirit of compassion, justice, and equality by inspiring individuals and communities to take action and make a positive impact in the world.

At MOTSAMAI CLG, we collaborate with like-minded individuals and organisations to shine a spotlight on the issues closest to Mandela's heart, particularly the well-being of children. Mandela's commitment to the welfare of children serves as a guiding light for our efforts as we strive to create a brighter future for the youth of Ireland and beyond.

Central to our mission is the mobilisation of communities and groups to volunteer their time on July 18th each year, dedicating 67 minutes to serving others in honour of Mandela's 67 years of service to humanity. These acts of kindness and generosity embody Mandela's belief in the power of collective action to bring about positive change.

In addition to our volunteer initiatives, MOTSAMAI CLG hosts Gala Dinners in cities across Ireland throughout the month of July. These events mark the observance of Mandela International Day, where people from diverse backgrounds come together to reflect on Mandela's legacy and reaffirm their commitment to the values he promoted.
